NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
Promotion only open to legal residents of Canada. Void where prohibited by law. Subject to all national, provincial and local laws, regulations, and ordinances. Promotion begins on November 7, 2011 at 10:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on November 30, 2011 at 6:00:00 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”). Promotion Administrator’s computer is the official time-keeping device for this Promotion.
Eligibility: The Super 8 Curling Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is open to legal residents of Canada who are 21 years of age or older at the start of the Promotion. Employees, officers, and directors of Super 8 Worldwide, Inc., Wyndham Hotel Group Canada, ULC (“Sponsors”), or any of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, web site providers, web masters, and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children, regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household are not eligible to enter or win. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to Sponsors’ decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. All entrants must have access to the Internet prior to the start of the Promotion. Sponsors reserve the right to verify the eligibility of winners.

1. How to Enter: Completing and submitting an online entry form is the only means of entering the Promotion. During the Promotion Period, visit www.facebook.com/super8. If you have not yet “liked” the official Super 8 Facebook page, a message to do so will appear. Clicking “like” will allow you to view the Promotion’s tab on the Super 8 Facebook page. Click on the Promotion’s tab and follow the links and instructions to submit your online entry. The Sweepstakes entry form will require you to provide full legal name, valid e-mail address, complete home address (street address only; postal boxes will not be accepted), date of birth, and phone number.Upon completion and online submission of the entry form, you will be entered with one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. You must provide all required information to be eligible to enter and win. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded. Internet access, phone, and usage charges imposed by your online or phone service may apply. Limit: one entry per person/e-mail address per day (12:00:01 a.m. ET – 11:59:59 p.m. ET, with the exceptions of the first day on which the Promotion begins at 10:00:00 a.m. ET and the last day on which the Promotion ends at 6:00:00 p.m. ET) during the Promotion Period. Bulk, automated and/or third party entries are prohibited and will be disqualified. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any participant to exceed the entry limitation by using multiple and/or different identities, forms, (registrations, email addresses, log-ins), or any other methods will void that participant’s entries, and that participant may be disqualified at Sponsors' and/or Administrator’s discretion. In the event of a dispute as to any registration or entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant or entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder to the Sponsors and/or the Administrator for verification. Entries specifying an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address will be disqualified and ineligible to win.
Selection of Winners: On December 2, 2011, Berlin Productions, Inc. (the “Administrator”), will select the name of the potential prize Winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period at its offices at 199 Main Street in White Plains, NY, USA. The odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries received. The potential Winner will be notified by email and/or telephone at the sole discretion of Sponsors or Administrator. To be deemed a potential winner, selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question within a certain time limit without any assistance of any kind, whether mechanical, electronic or otherwise.
Except where legally prohibited, the potential prize Winner must sign and return, within seven (7) days of being notified, an Affidavit/Declaration of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release in order to claim his/her prize. If potential Winner cannot be contacted in person via email or telephone after two (2) attempts to contact him/her, or if he/she fails to sign and return the Affidavit/Declaration of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release within the required time period, or in the event that a potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner selected by a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.
Verification of Potential Winners: ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR AND/OR ADMINISTRATOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE PROMOTION. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE.
Prize:One (1) Prize will be awarded. Prize consists of a $500.00 (CDN) gift certificate to Goldline Curling Supplies, redeemable at retail or online. Winner may elect to receive a $500.00 (CDN) cash prize in lieu of the Goldline gift certificate. Cash prize may be awarded in the form of a gift card/debit card from a recognized bank or credit card company, or as a check, in the sole discretion of Sponsors.
Prize also includes three (3) free night stays at any Super 8 location in the U.S. or Canada (one room; single or double occupancy) awarded in the form of Wyndham Rewards points. Free night stays component of prize requires enrollment in Wyndham Rewards program (membership is free) in order to redeem Wyndham Rewards points, subject to availability and standard terms and conditions of Wyndham Rewards points redemption program. Winner will receive 48,000 Wyndham Rewards points redeemable for three (3) free nights at a tier 4 level hotel. Prize Restrictions:Prize cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash; however, Sponsors reserve the right to make equivalent prize substitutions at their sole discretion. Sponsors will not replace any lost or stolen prize/prize components.
General Conditions: Void where prohibited. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsors’ reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Sponsors and their agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, misdirected, or illegible entries; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, garbled transmissions or miscommunications, telephone transmission problems; computer or software malfunctions or damage to a user’s computer equipment (software or hardware); technical failures; or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise. Proof of sending or submission of entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsors and/or Administrator. Sponsors' failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROMOTION OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the entry process, the web site, and/or the legitimate operation of the Promotion; to violate the Official Rules; or to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, Sponsors may, in their sole discretion, void any suspect entries and (a) modify the Promotion or suspend the Promotion to address the impairment and then resume the Promotion in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. Such decision to modify or suspend the Promotion will be communicated on the official Super 8 Facebook page.
Residents of Québec. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in this promotion, entrants agree that Sponsors, Administrator, Facebook, Inc. and their affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, web site providers, web masters, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsors reserve the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims.

Publicity. EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, WINNERS GRANT TO SPONSORS AND/OR ADMINISTRATOR (WHICH GRANT WILL BE CONFIRMED IN WRITING ON REQUEST OF SPONSORS), THEIR SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, RETAILERS, DISTRIBUTORS, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, SUPPLIERS, AND THOSE ACTING PURSUANT TO ITS AUTHORITY, THE RIGHT AND PERMISSION TO PRINT, PUBLISH, BROADCAST, AND USE, WORLDWIDE IN ANY MEDIA NOW KNOWN OR HEREAFTER DEVELOPED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WORLD WIDE WEB, AT ANY TIME OR TIMES, EACH WINNER’S NAME, PORTRAIT, PICTURE, VOICE, LIKENESS, AND BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION FOR ADVERTISING, TRADE, AND PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES (INCLUDING THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF HIS OR HER NAME ON TELEVISION OR RADIO BROADCAST) WITHOUT ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION, COMPENSATION, PERMISSION, OR NOTIFICATION. Disputes. Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New Jersey or the appropriate State Court located in Morris County or Essex County, New Jersey; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsors in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New Jersey, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of New Jersey or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New Jersey.
